This Ridge Creek Tack 5-strand loping hackamore has a stiff flat braided bosal made from 1/4" polyester rope and is attached to a leather browband headstall with a fiador (throatlatch) with mecate loop reins. The mecate loop reins offer approx. 9' loop rein as well as a lead to use for groundwork and attach to your saddle - Total length of rein and mecate is 22'. The loping hack is perfect for any size horse, at any level of training (be sure to acclimate your horse with it on the ground before riding if your horse has never ridden in a bosal before).
